Connector — LINE

What you can send your customers on LINE.

Connect OS iXanagi to your LINE Official Account through LINE's API, and more than replies reaches the chat: product cards, buttons, event invitations. What they say is built from your business knowledge and the products you registered.

Connector and add-on

A connector connects. An add-on is activated.

Two pages about LINE, two different things. A connector connects; an add-on is activated. The LINE connector is the line between your LINE Official Account and OS iXanagi — what can travel along it, when, and to whom. The Sell & chat on LINE add-on is what runs over that line: the AI answering from your knowledge, showing your products, and keeping the conversation as a case or a lead. Selling on LINE takes both: the connector to connect, the add-on to activate it.

What you can send

In the chat, it arrives like this.

Your customers get these in their usual LINE chat — no new app, nothing to sign up for. The screens below are samples: the businesses, products and prices are examples, and LINE's own logo and icons are not used.

When it is sent

Three moments when something is sent.

When someone adds you as a friend A greeting goes out automatically, with a link (valid for 15 minutes) to a page where they can check their orders and inquiries.

When they ask The answer goes back on the spot. It is sent through LINE's Reply API, so it does not count toward your monthly LINE messages (a reply that fails and is sent again does count).

When you send first Announcements and reminders go out once the recipients and the text have been checked and approved. Within a scope you set with limits, a budget and an end date (delegation to the AI), they go out without approving each one. You can also set a time. These count toward your monthly messages (per LINE's plan page, as of October 2026).

Who receives it

You choose who receives it.

Even when the AI prepares the recipients and the text, a message goes out only when you have checked and approved it, or within a scope you set with limits, a budget and an end date (delegation to the AI). Before sending, you see roughly how many people it will reach. Sends to many people, and broadcasts, can only be made by people trusted with broadcasting.

All friends

A broadcast to everyone who added you.

People with a tag

Tags are added when someone taps a button, or by a rule. You can also leave tagged people out.

People who signed up or bought

People who ordered a product or signed up for an event you registered — among those whose LINE is linked to their customer record.

One person

A reply to an inquiry, to that person only.

The talk and the AI

What the AI does with the talk. And what it does not.

A talk is not training data. Nothing that arrives is used to train an AI model, by us or by the AI providers we use. The AI reads a talk only to answer it on the spot. What is recorded, what happens by itself, and what stays a human decision: four cards.

Every talk is kept

Every talk that arrives is recorded, sales pitches included. A problem becomes a support case, anything else a lead, and the exchange the AI answered stays with it. Nothing is dropped in silence; what you do with it is a later step.

Only the reply on the spot is automatic

When asked, the AI answers on the spot from the knowledge you decided to publish. What the knowledge does not cover it does not guess; it hands over to a person. The knowledge it reads is the same one as the website chat, and customer cases or internal learnings never mix in.

What you send goes out when a person decides

Announcements and broadcasts are sent when you check the recipients and the message and approve. The only exception is a scope you delegated to the AI yourself, with a limit, a budget and an expiry. A reply from a case reaches the customer when a person presses send.

Knowledge grows. The model is not trained

No talk is used to train an AI model. The AI gets better when the knowledge grows, and knowledge grows only when a person adopts something in Knowledge. The learning drafted when a case is closed becomes knowledge once a person approves it, too.

Compared with LINE alone

What connecting OS iXanagi adds.

Simple conversations work with a LINE Official Account alone. Connecting it through OS iXanagi links LINE to what sits outside it: your business knowledge, your products and events, your customer records and your support cases. Here are five differences. The businesses and products are examples.

What we checked on a real phone

October 2, 2026 On CloudEffects' own LINE Official Account, a question came in, the AI answered, and the reply went out. The same day, messages with buttons, a yes / no and quick replies were sent and accepted by LINE.

What cards and images need Product cards, event invitations, info cards and images need a public (https) address for their pictures and buttons.

Getting set up

Connect the LINE Official Account you already have.

  1. Turn on the Messaging API

Enable the Messaging API for your LINE Official Account, then find the channel secret and the long-lived channel access token in LINE Developers.

  2. Register them in OS iXanagi

In the console's Connections screen, activate LINE and enter the two. The webhook URL is shown.

  3. Two settings on LINE

Paste the webhook URL and turn webhooks on. Turn auto-reply off, so customers don't get two replies.

  4. Add knowledge and products

Register the knowledge answers come from, and the products the cards show. That becomes what replies and cards say.

Use case

See it in a real business.

What these forms look like in a shop that sells on LINE — one day, from a night question to the morning, and why LINE’s auto-reply goes off.

Use case — one example

A shop or salon that sells on LINE

At 10 p.m., “Which size should I get?” The AI answers from the shop’s knowledge and adds product cards. What it was never taught, it leaves for the morning. The case walks through one day: what goes on the OS (Knowledge, Commerce, Support, Marketing — plus the LINE connector and this add-on), the routine work handed over, and why LINE’s own auto-reply is turned off.
