Scope and how to read this policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy applies to everyone who uses OS iXanagi, and to everything customers publish, send or sell with it: websites, messages, stores, documents and AI output.
Sections 1–14 describe kinds of content. Each lists what is not allowed and, where it matters, the context in which the subject itself may be discussed — the same topic can be harmful in one setting and protective in another. Sections 15–18 cover how OS iXanagi's own features may be used. Section 19 explains how we respond to violations and how to report or appeal.
The lists show typical cases and are not exhaustive. Content that is lawful but clearly built to cause the harm a section describes is treated as a violation of that section.
1. Violence and criminal activity
Not allowed:
- threatening or inciting violence against people, or glorifying it;
- supporting or recruiting for violent or terrorist organizations;
- encouraging crime, giving instructions for committing it, or celebrating criminal acts;
- promoting cruelty to animals.
Allowed in context: news, documentary, educational and awareness content; criticism and commentary; and fiction or art that does not promote the harm.
2. Child safety
Not allowed:
- any content that sexualizes minors, including nudity, sexual images and AI-generated or drawn depictions;
- content that exploits, abuses or endangers children, or helps anyone contact children in order to harm them.
Allowed in context: child-protection and safety education that contains no explicit depiction. We have zero tolerance in this area: we remove such content immediately, close the account and report to the authorities as the law requires.
3. Harassment and bullying
Not allowed:
- targeted harassment of a person or group;
- threats, intimidation, coercion or encouraging others to abuse or attack someone;
- content whose purpose is to humiliate or degrade a specific person.
Allowed in context: news, documentary, educational and awareness content; criticism and commentary; and fiction or art that does not promote the harm.
4. Hate and discrimination
Not allowed:
- attacking, dehumanizing or inciting exclusion of people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or health condition;
- hate speech, and promoting segregation or discrimination against those groups.
Allowed in context: news, documentary, educational and awareness content; criticism and commentary; and fiction or art that does not promote the harm.
5. Self-harm, suicide and eating disorders
Not allowed:
- promoting, glorifying or giving instructions for self-harm or suicide, or depicting it graphically;
- promoting eating disorders or dangerous dieting, or coaching such behavior.
Allowed in context: mental-health content focused on prevention, recovery and support (such as crisis resources), without graphic depiction; and fiction or art that does not promote the harm.
6. Sexual content
Not allowed:
- pornography and sexually explicit depictions of sexual acts or nudity;
- sexualized nude images of real people created or altered with AI or editing tools;
- soliciting or advertising sexual services, prostitution or escort services, and anything that facilitates sex trafficking.
Allowed in context: sex education and health information without explicit imagery; and the lawful sale of adult products where the store follows the age-verification and display rules that apply to it.
7. Non-consensual intimate imagery
Not allowed:
- creating, posting or sharing intimate or sexual images of a person without their consent, including AI-generated ones;
- threatening to share such images.
Allowed in context: support for victims and online-safety education that contains no such images.
8. Deepfakes and misinformation
Not allowed:
- AI-generated or altered media that deceptively depicts a real person saying or doing something they did not;
- fake endorsements, including fake political endorsements and fake testimonials;
- false information about public safety, emergencies or disasters, and fabricated news;
- dangerous medical claims, such as false cures for serious illnesses.
Allowed in context: parody, satire, fiction and art that are clearly labeled as AI-generated or edited; news, documentary, educational and awareness content; criticism and commentary; and fiction or art that does not promote the harm.
9. Deceptive practices and impersonation
Not allowed:
- impersonating a person, brand or organization in a way that misleads people;
- phishing pages, fake login pages, and sites built to collect passwords, payment details or personal data under false pretenses;
- scams, including fake giveaways, fake coupons, fraudulent investment schemes and fake financial services (such as fake wallets, payment pages or banks);
- fake reviews, fake testimonials, fabricated receipts or records, and misleading prices or claims.
Allowed in context: fan sites and commentary that are clearly unofficial; and education about scams and impersonation.
10. Illegal and regulated goods and services
Not allowed:
- selling, promoting or explaining how to obtain illegal drugs or controlled substances;
- offering regulated services — such as gambling, financial services, weapons, alcohol, tobacco or pharmaceuticals — without the licenses they require;
- selling counterfeit or stolen goods;
- services that exploit people, including human trafficking and forced labor.
Allowed in context: licensed businesses operating within their licenses; and education, documentary and harm-reduction content that does not explain how to obtain or make illegal goods.
11. Personal information
Not allowed:
- collecting, publishing, selling or sharing someone's personal information without consent (doxxing), such as a home address, phone number or ID document;
- publishing other people's passwords, credentials or account information.
Allowed in context: information that is lawfully public or shared with the person's explicit consent, handled as our Privacy Policy and applicable law require.
12. Malicious hacking and malware
Not allowed:
- distributing stolen credentials or confidential data;
- attempting, or giving instructions for, unauthorized access to systems in order to damage them, their owners' finances or reputation;
- creating, hosting or distributing malware, malicious code or malicious links.
Allowed in context: security research, education and defensive tooling that do not target systems without permission.
13. Dangerous activities
Not allowed:
- content that encourages or instructs activities likely to cause serious injury or death, including dangerous challenges and making weapons or explosives.
Allowed in context: safety warnings, prevention and training content, and clearly fictional depictions.
14. Copyright and trademarks
Not allowed:
- content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark;
- copying an existing commercial site or service one-to-one and using a known company's name or logo. We treat such clones as impersonation (section 9) and remove them.
Rights holders can report infringement as described in our Copyright Policy.
15. Messaging
Send marketing messages by email, LINE, WhatsApp or other channels only to people who have agreed to receive them, and follow each channel's rules and anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM and Japan's Act on Regulation of Transmission of Specified Electronic Mail). Include a working way to opt out, and honor opt-outs promptly. Do not use purchased or scraped contact lists.
16. Commerce
Sell only goods and services you are allowed to sell (section 10). Show the legal notices your customers are entitled to, describe products and prices accurately, and honor your own refund and cancellation terms.
17. AI features
Do not use AI features to:
- generate content that violates this policy or the usage policies of our AI providers;
- impersonate a real person or organization, or present AI-generated content as a real person's statement or experience;
- make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals (such as credit, employment or housing) without human review;
- grant an Agent Mandate that lets AI act beyond what you would approve yourself.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving AI proposals, and for what you publish.
18. Security, integrity and connectors
Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Services without our written permission; access another tenant's data; bypass usage limits, credits or permission checks; or interfere with the Services. Do not use connectors or the Services to collect data from third-party sites or marketplaces in violation of their terms.
Report vulnerabilities to security@cloudeffects.com.
19. Enforcement, reports and appeals
What we may do. If we believe content or activity violates this policy, we may remove or disable the specific content or site, pause a feature, or, for serious or repeated violations, suspend or close the account. Where reasonable, we notify you first and give you a chance to fix it; for section 2 and other severe harm we act without notice.
Reporting a violation. To report a site, message or store run with OS iXanagi that breaks this policy, write to legal@cloudeffects.com.
Appealing a decision. If you believe we removed content or suspended an account by mistake, write to legal@cloudeffects.com from the email address on the account.
Copyright and trademark matters follow our Copyright Policy, including counter-notices.
What to include. We can act only on a complete request:
- whether it is a report or an appeal;
- the URL of the site or page, or the project or account concerned;
- which section of this policy is involved, and a specific description of the problem;
- an email address where we can reach you — check it before sending.
We may contact you if we need more information. Requests missing this information may not be reviewed.
